Los Rancho Mobile Home Community WWTP

Complete Wastewater Treatment solution for a 200-unit mobile home community featuring advanced biological treatment and energy-efficient operation.

Los Angeles County, California
Completed 2023
50,000 GPD Capacity

Project Overview

The Los Rancho Mobile Home Community required a comprehensive Wastewater Treatment solution to serve 200 residential units while meeting stringent California environmental regulations. The existing septic system was failing and needed replacement with a modern, efficient treatment facility.

CIIG designed and constructed a state-of-the-art packaged Wastewater Treatment plant featuring our proprietary modified activated sludge process with airlift mixing technology. The system was specifically engineered to handle residential wastewater flows while minimizing energy consumption and maintenance requirements.

Project Challenges

  • Limited available space for treatment infrastructure
  • Strict discharge requirements for nearby water bodies
  • Need for minimal disruption to existing residents
  • Budget constraints requiring cost-effective solution
  • Seasonal flow variations from vacation rentals

CIIG's Solution

Our design-build team developed a compact, single-basin treatment system that maximizes treatment efficiency while minimizing footprint. The innovative airlift mixing system eliminates the need for mechanical mixers, reducing energy consumption by 40% compared to conventional systems.
